Supporting Music and Art in Borrego Springs

The Borrego Springs Music Festival is a 501 (C) (3)  nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local music and performing arts education. 
We proudly fund and operate the Borrego Academy of Music and Art (BAMA) providing creative opportunities for all ages while fostering connection through the arts.

On November 14th 2026 the Borrego Springs Music Festival will be hosting an event for past, present and future contributors to our mission of providing music and arts to school aged children in our community. The plan is to provide food and drinks consisting of tacos by Tacos El Dorado catering, Cactus coolers and string cheese along with heavy hors d’oeuvres and assorted beverages. Our students will be providing some live music to show off what they have learned at our academy along with the local band Disturbing the Piece.

We are very excited to announce this years special guest is none other than the Sultan of Slowjamastan  who will be sharing his support for our venture and perhaps encouraging some to get the popular Slowjamastan driving and fishing license combo or perhaps a citizenship.

The event will take place at the Borrego Academy of Music and Arts located at 590 Palm Canyon Dr Suite 101 in Borrego Springs beginning at 5:00pm till Borrego Midnight (SST) and promises to be the social event of the season.

A quick word of warning, no crocs will be allowed on the premises at any time.

You can feel it in your heart. It sings through your bones. You can’t help tapping along with your foot. Snapping your finger. Nodding your head.

The BAMA drummers need your help!

Our students have been working since August of 2024 to become excellent drummers.

Under the expert tutelage of drum teacher (and dentist) Dr. Robert Goldenberg. Dr. Bob has a group of kids working on possibly performing in the Borrego Days Parade. The only hold up? The very expensive marching drums.
We need $7,500 for marching drums and carriers to equip our very dedicated drum students. Want to help us buy drums? You can send a check (any amount helps) to Borrego Springs Music Festival
